How to make amala with elubo
- Bring water to a boil in a pot.
- Lower the heat and add the yam flour a little at a time, stirring firmly with a wooden spoon to keep it smooth and lump-free.
- Keep turning until the amala is soft and stretchy, add a splash of hot water, cover and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Stir again, shape into balls and serve hot with ewedu, gbegiri or efo riro.

I bought this in Ghana 6 years ago, and was devastated that I couldn't find it anywhere in the US. Its great that I found a site that holds it. Its extremely moisturizing and silky, it makes my skin feel and smell fantastic. It has a strong coco butter scent, but it isn't pure coco butter. So if you're looking for that, this isn't the product for you. Its like a coco butter lotion.
