It’s less bitter or astringent than ones I have previously purchased in Harlem, but I don’t know if that is a good or bad thing. Perhaps less herbs in the mix? I’d have to compare the ingredients on the label to make sure. However, it’s an excellent product just the same. I just wish the spout was more conducive to pouring. This is true of the one from Harlem too. I always seem to waste a little each pour until I’ve used about half the bottle. Perhaps I need to think about transferring to another pour-friendly bottle to keep from wasting this precious product.

Shameka H.

I’ll be honest—the taste is awful. It’s extremely bitter, and I do understand that the things that are good for you aren’t meant to taste good. Despite the taste, I did notice results very quickly. After the first day, my digestion improved, I was going to the bathroom regularly, and I felt noticeably less bloated. Because of that, I do believe the product works and has real benefits—for me, at least so I plan on being consistent and taking regularly.

Royshawn

Wish it still had the original label on it!!

When I opened the jar, it smelled like meat. I had my husband smell it and he said the same thing. This was my second purchase with the company and this was not the case before. There was nothing that could be done because I had opened it and there are no refunds. I could not have known the smell prior opening it so that’s disappointing. I now have a full bottle that I can do nothing with.
