How to cook ofada rice
- Rinse the rice in several changes of water until the water runs clearer.
- Cover with water and boil for about 10 minutes, then drain and rinse. This parboil step reduces the strong aroma if you prefer it milder.
- Return to the pot with about 2 cups of fresh water for every cup of rice and a pinch of salt.
- Cook on low heat for 20 to 25 minutes, until tender and the water is absorbed. Add a splash of water if needed.

I bought this in Ghana 6 years ago, and was devastated that I couldn't find it anywhere in the US. Its great that I found a site that holds it. Its extremely moisturizing and silky, it makes my skin feel and smell fantastic. It has a strong coco butter scent, but it isn't pure coco butter. So if you're looking for that, this isn't the product for you. Its like a coco butter lotion.
